Pros

Your coworkers can be great and if you like talking to people this is a good job for you

Cons

No management, highly suspect owner disappearing for along time with very false promises being offered to employees. Do not take this job if you have any other choice and if you do take it then continue your job search, this company has all of the markings of a failing company you are nothing but a number to them and you will be removed as soon as you go through a rough patch

ReNew Home Designs Response

As the owner of the company, I wanted to take the time to reply to this personally rather than let our Hiring Manager. I take one vacation per year over the Winter Holiday and was in communication with my team morning, noon and night every day of that vacation. Anyone saying that any member of our team is unavailable is complete nonsense. With that said, our team is highly talented and motivated. We all work together (Even I, the owner, go out into the field with the team regularly) in a fast paced and competitive industry. We, like any performance based company, cannot keep members on the team that cannot perform. This is not the right fit for everyone, but our quotas are very low. In addition, we provide many, many resources for anyone who wants additional coaching or mentoring. If even after all of the resources we have to take advantage of, someone still cannot make it, we don't think it's anyones fault, but it's definitely not the right fit. Best of luck on your next opportunity.

Pros

ReNew is a great place to work. I have been in the industry for close to 10 years and ReNew's professionalism is unmatched. Great income potential and work environment.

Cons

Long hours, but it is worth it in the end in terms of income and growth potential.

Pros

The only pro I can think of is that they did actually pay me for the brief time I worked there.

Cons

Completely dishonest in what they promise. The recruiter there who interviewed me said I'd start at $14/hr. and not $10/hr. because of my previous experience, rather than having to wait 2 weeks to earn $14/hr. But once training started, they said they'd "changed their mind" and would start everyone at $10/hr. And since we were starting in winter and would be working outdoors, my recruiter said we'd get heated jackets and I even think heated gloves. That would have been nice, but NOTHING was mentioned about that afterwards. The training, at least most of mine, was very poor, and I thought very inadequate unless you already know about roofs and roofing. They don't give you enough of a chance and must go through sales associates like toilet paper. I was let go after just one week in the field because I didn't make quota for that week. Who bases your performance in a sales job on JUST ONE WEEK?? NOTE: One of the reasons I decided to give this company a try even though I was somewhat wary was the number of good reviews I saw. Well, I now feel confident that they must have been from employees in other jobs there or completely fabricated. UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION, I'D ENCOURAGE YOU TO NOT TAKE A JOB AS A SALES ASSOCIATE AT RENEW. And even if you do, there's a good chance you'll be let go very soon because you didn't meet their ridiculous expectations!
