Pros

Because of its affiliation with Radio One and the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Reach Media has excellent brand equity in the entertainment media market. There are a few perks when it comes to event access. Also, you can call it birth by fire. If you can survive life at Reach there are very few situations that can break your spirit.

Cons

I can only speak for interactive media, and as a whole it is neglected as a major revenue generator for Reach as a company. Too often interactive is asked to spin straw into gold--and within an unrealistic time frame. Also, there is a level of unprofessionalism that circulates throughout the office. There have been times people were literally screamed at in meetings and publicly embarassed. Executives at the top are often too far removed from the daily workings and don't have a big picture of what interactive media should be.
