Pros

nice team to work with, nice Team leader, and nice line management. very good for the social side of things with frequent work nights out/events etc. Very easy to get on with people there. Free fruit regularly. A decent amount of other job opportunities within the company itself.

Cons

Brutal pay with brutal annual increments. not a place to come if you hope to make money or save. The I&S teams are the bottom of the pile, and this is reflected in the terrible pay / benefits. Probation is not 6 months. it is an undefined amount of time based on exams that can only be scheduled 2 weeks apart and upon agreement of management. Passing probation usually lasts closer to a year. You will not access a bonus or be able to apply for a normal job within the company until it is passed. The role itself is little like what is advertised. its about 15% like what is advertised. It is mostly transferring calls, taking messages for others, doing password resets and other basic customer service duties. There is very little technical about the role and little room to grow technically, so it hard to justify it as an IT role. The software is a joke, its like getting in a time machine and travelling back in time to find the most unresponsive software in history. Again, pay and benefits is terrible. It starts of very basic. After year 1 you can look forward to a whopping 7% increase which would be the same the size increment on year 2. In other words, it will take you about 3 years of full time work to even match the salaries offered to grads in other IT companies in dublin.

Pros

Started here straight out of college into a Support Analyst role. Career progression within the company is a big thing which is actively encouraged and can be great if you find a role which suits. You can make great friends here as it is a very sociable company however that can be the only good thing after awhile of working there.

Cons

Salaries are way below the industry standard. Salary is reviewed every year however there is little to no movement on these when they are decided. Training is awful and seriously lacking. Moved to a new internal role and was advised I was being offered their full support in order to improve my skills and fit more into the role however it turned out this was an ongoing process which felt more like being spoken to like a child and being lectured to throughout the whole process. Made for a very stressful year in which I gave up in the last few months of working there and began looking for new opportunities.

Pros

some perks like nespresso coffee, pool table, S&S etc, made some good friends there

Cons

poor salary, reluctant to give earned bonuses and increases unless you were deemed valuable, some managers who thought they were untouchable and were very resistant to change or suggested improvements if it didn't fit their way of thinking, the assignment of busy work in the very rare time when we were not slammed due to staff shortages or just poor product releases that were clearly not QA'ed at all.
