Pros

I worked with some genuinely capable and supportive people, and there were opportunities to be involved in meaningful projects. The role gave me exposure to different teams, systems and operational challenges, which helped me build valuable experience.

Cons

Like many growing or changing businesses, priorities could shift quickly and communication around change was not always as clear or consistent as it could have been. At times, this made it harder to plan work effectively or understand longer-term direction.

Pros

Well known brand in the industry

Cons

Legacy Windows based system with no native Mac support, which feels increasingly outdated. Leadership team is relatively new and appears to lack deep product knowledge or a clear understanding of customer feedback. Ongoing challenges likely stemming from previous leadership have not yet been fully addressed. Limited adoption of AI and modern technologies compared to competitors, many of whom offer stronger UX/UI. Lack of cross-department collaboration, with poor visibility into what other teams are working on. Some management styles can feel overly directive, with insufficient support or guidance provided to employees. Weak company culture, where asking questions can feel discouraged and responses are often inconsistent. Onboarding process (both internal and for clients) is minimal, relying heavily on self-serve training modules without structured support. Signs of customer churn, potentially linked to product and service gaps. A perception of complacency within the organisation, with resistance to change or improvement.
