Pros

-Pay was pretty good for pre-inflation. -Some employees at the company are great and want to help you. -Paid for gas/cell reimbursement. -They will pay for certs but only ones that benefit them and only if you pass.

Cons

-Job was sold as Hybrid remote onsite. Coworker never came to the office so I was onsite at all times. -My direct coworker spoke very poorly about the guy I replaced but would praise him on Zoom meetings. Can only assume he did that about me after I left. -When coworker would come in he would cut early to go to a bar and "work". -There is no room for upward growth. The office techs/tier 2 and 3 guys have all been there for years and aren't going anywhere. Field tech or nada. -Onboarding procedure is non-existent. The person who is kind of the "HR" person schedules some meetings with other employees but it is more of a "hi, how are you" and not training. Had to self-teach a significant portion of my job and the rest was taught by someone who was less than thrilled to do so. -There is a clique in the company that is not easy to be a part of and if you aren't in it it's pretty obvious. -Upper management takes client side over employee side. -Upper management monitors computer and internet usage. -Has double standard for field techs and office techs when it comes to said internet usage. -Upper management has monthly meetings that could be emails but require cameras on during Zoom. -Gas card took 4 months to procure after being a selling point. Newer employee got his in 2 weeks because they got them all at once at not when hired. I was told they were "busy". -Everyone cherry picks tickets from system, no procedure for it. In short, it's a "family" company that has grown to the edge of a large company and has some of the worst qualities of both.

Pros

Reboot provides excellent, best-in-class managed information technology and cybersecurity services for small businesses. Their technical acumen, developed through more than 20 years in the business, is excellent and driven top-down by management. As an employee, it feels good to work for a firm who is genuinely interested in doing good for their clients and the world at large. There are plenty of opportunities for career growth and skills acquisition. Corporate culture is great and not overbearing - they make sure there are lots of opportunities for employees to meet and interact and support each other. Reboot truly makes you feel like you're a human being first and employee second. Work/life balance is important and respected.

Cons

I truly can't think of any downsides to working for Reboot. Professionally and personally, the company has been great to work for.

Great place to work.

Pros

Reboot is a great place to work. I've worked in large enterprise corporate environments where nothing ever gets done due to red tape. I decided to take a chance with a smaller company and was glad I did. It's easy to get things done as choices and decisions can be made in real time to resolve issues. Everyone is friendly and highly skilled, more than willing to share knowledge. We get things done but we also have fun doing it. If you're worried about joining Reboot, don't be, it's a great place to learn and grow. The benefits are great also.

Cons

As other reviewers said, it can be a bit overwhelming when you first start. Trying to get up to speed with all the new systems and processes in place. It isn't really a sink or swim type scenario as everyone is helpful to get your skills up to the level they need to be to take care of customers. You either have the personality that can adapt or you don't.
