Pros
- Convenience of being remote/working from anywhere - Nice co-workers - Good benefits - Well-organized tech stack
Cons
Red Branch Media faces several noteworthy cons that impacted my personal dissatisfaction while working there. Firstly, a relatively high turnover rate coupled with a reluctance to rehire for vacant positions led to an uneven distribution of work that strained myself and others from the team. The stringent timekeeping enforced through Monday.com, even post-training, created a sense of rigidity that hindered the employee flexibility they promoted during my interview process. The HR tech industry is pretty dull in my opinion. During the last few months of my employment, RBM took on some clients that I found to be difficult which contributed to an overly challenging and at times, frustrating work environment. And from what I've heard, the departure of significant clients also raises questions about the agency's actual standing. Unrealistic expectations for recent graduates or those with limited experience led to stress and burnout very quickly. Lastly, the use of outdated photos to project diversity and the attempt to appear larger than reality eroded some of my trust in their practices.
