Pros

I started my journey here as an intern and was later offered a full-time role, where I worked for 2.5 years. During my internship, I received excellent mentorship that helped shape my growth. My pull requests consistently made it into production, which was highly motivating. Everyone was always just a ping away, making collaboration easy and effective. There was always so much to learn, and I was given the freedom to work on proofs of concept and bring new ideas to the table. This environment truly encouraged innovation and continuous learning.

Cons

The bonus payout was uncertain, and working in remote mode was particularly challenging as a junior engineer.

Business Stability Concerns – Heavy dependence on a limited customer base leads to recurring cost-cutting and short-term decisions. Lack of Product Vision – no clear long-term product roadmap. Frequent restructuring disrupts execution and creates uncertainty in planning. Legacy Tech Stack & Technical Debt – monolithic architecture with significant technical debt and limited modernisation initiatives. Work-Life Balance – Long working hours and excessive meetings reduce productivity and impact personal time. Unpredictable Variable Pay – the 2024 bonus may only be paid in October 2025 and is dependent on achieving 2025 business targets, making compensation uncertain. Hiring Practices – Hiring appears largely from Friends and Relative, No outsiders join Management & Decision Authority – Perceived favouritism in work allocation and increments. No decision-making authority at the India

Pros

RedSeal.net is a great place to work with supportive leadership and a collaborative culture. The company provides excellent opportunities to learn and grow in cybersecurity, work on challenging B2B SaaS projects, and gain exposure to enterprise clients. There is strong mentorship, career development opportunities, and a culture that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing.

Cons

None from my perspective for the time I spent with the organisation
