Pros

Nice pay, consistent hours, residents are wonderful, $100 bonus at Christmas time, clean

Cons

I worked for this horrible company for 4 years. One time I got fired for being pregnant, had to hire a lawyer and jump through hoops to get my job back. After I got the job back I was treated horrible. My hours would constantly change, I was forced overtime, and told I never did my job correctly. I was later forced to either quit or go on a personal leave of absence for being pregnant again. Never once either time was I offered FMLA, which is required by law.

Pros

Department managers were very good and understanding, and willing to accommodate many employees' schedules (especially those that might work more than one job). Staff were generally treated well and taught to provide excellent customer service to all of the senior residents living at the facility. If you were a resident living there, you were treated like gold.

Cons

Upper management didn't always seem to care as much about the thoughts, opinions, or well-being of the staff. Many staff complained that issues and concerns they had were not being addressed or dealt with in a serious or timely manner. Furthermore, many times staff would raise certain issues or alert management to a potential problem, but the response was typically "Thanks for your concern, but we're moving forward with this anyway and we have it figured out." Only to have the program or new implementation crash and burn several months or a year later for the reasons they were warned about.

Pros

Company has a great mission and is non profit. Turnover like other health facilities in the area. Building is clean

Cons

Healthcare in general is a difficult industry to be in currently.
