    I worked at Regional Express full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Pays well - Leave requests usually get granted - Great crew to work with - Manage your own cabin - Very social company, like a family - Flexibility, able to swap shifts with other crew and crewing can assist you where possible. - Good work/life balance

    Cons

    - 6-8 sector days - Repetitive - Poor management - Working in summer is uncomfortable and potentially dangerous. The AC system does not work well so you're sweating and not breathing properly. I've had people pass out on my flights. - Very noisy from the propellers, I have lost a bit of hearing - Having to submit your own expense claims manually. Should all be automatic like every other airline. - Very dated uniform, website, accommodation - Company is profitable but so stingy with their employees

    Pros

    You get to work with the best people, because its only a small crew bonding time is such better. Solo flight attendant so you virtually get to be your own boss

    Cons

    Lots of overnights and time away

    Friendly work environment with helpful employees and, good exposure to how the company operates and many other interns to chat with

    Cons

    Limited work was assigned to me, there was lots of downtime (nothing to do), work that was assigned to me was a bit dry/boring

    Pros

    Hours can be flexible at times. The operational team are mostly good to work with.

    Cons

    The systems crash all the time and are old and time consuming to work with. There isn't much coverage for illness or leave.

    Pros

    Work alone throughout the day.

    Cons

    Management was not experienced. They were unorganized and superior employees would have to spend longer days helping employees who didn't care or were terrible.

    I worked at Regional Express full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good compensation, typically you spend 1 night at a time away from home (out and back), the people you work with are solid, a reasonably good relationship between scheduling and flight crew, overtime compensation is pretty good.

    Cons

    Overnights are nearly all min rest over nights. CEO and COO are vindictive, unprofessional and untrustworthy. The work culture is one of fear and intimidation. Unfortunately this far outweighs the benefits of working for this company. Be very careful before you work for these guys while Neville Howell is COO
