Worst experience with an employer

Pros

- Benefits - They hire some truly outstanding people - RegoU

Cons

- Nepotism. Fellow Mormons and family friends are given exceptional treatment. - They'll discard you if it benefits them, no matter how much time you've put in. Don't expect loyalty. - Tremendous output and effort is never recognized. - The same few people are their favorites. If you're new, you won't receive genuine respect. - Never got to use PTO or health insurance because I was on call every day. You are ostracized for using your personal time and benefits. - Management does not problem-solve. It's on you, the new hire, to resolve every issue and cater to the egos of managers. If something is wrong, they don't want to hear about it. You will be blamed. - Terrible on-boarding process. Rego doesn't invest in training, though they talk a big game. Consulting and development is their entire schtick, but they can't apply that to their own business.

Poor management with no vision but had great potential

Pros

Small company atmosphere with the ability to make a difference given the opportunity. They don't have offices so you can work from anywhere. Most customer like the company.

Cons

The owner has no vision and treats employees like lemmings. Most people working for them are relatives. If they decide to change something say goodbye and get the resume ready. The industry does not like the owner

Pros

Working from home is the only pro about this company

Cons

If you are not family (and Mormon), then do not work here. The CHRO knows it is a big problem but does nothing about it Not sure how he is CHRO since he has no HR experience. No one looks out for you any more. A few years ago, they had people who cared. Now just constant harassment about timesheets. No reviews are ever given so you have no idea where you stand. Bottom line is: NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU HERE.
