I worked at Regus full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Lots of training available. Some employees really went above and beyond and were willing to help support you.

    Cons

Management was unaware of difficulties at a base level. Too much politics. Other employees would lie and throw you under the bus.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Regus full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Casuals seem to have it better (less responsibility and less office BS)

    Cons

    - Work is repetitive and mind-numbing - Employees get treated like rubbish. - Staff turnover is high due to incompetent managers and egotistic sales reps. - Sales reps set unrealistic move in times for the receptionists to cater to (and if all the promises made by the sales reps are not met, the blame is placed on the receptionist. - Lunch hours rely on other receptionists from other centres. Since staff turnover is high, be prepared for 15-30 min lunch breaks on a regular. In fact, sometimes no lunch (and no compensation) - Pay & benefits are terrible - minimum wage. - Clients at the centres are a mixed bag - some demanding, some rude, some chill and some creepy. - Do not believe any tales of career progression. Management will keep you in the same position until it suits them. In fact, they will make community associates work as acting community managers for months without any promotion or pay rise. - Regus does not care about operations (only sales), so be prepared for a complete and utter mess - that you are expected to fix (with little to no training; and all the blame) - Culture is clicky. Management are lazy and mean girl cliques. Office gossip spreads like crazy. Toxic bro culture among the sales teams - not kidding.
