Pros

Decent sales bonus plan right now. Current focus on BLM movement and inclusivity.

Cons

If you told me 3 years ago that I couldn’t recommend working at Rehrig Pacific, I wouldn’t have believed it. The family culture is completely gone and has been replaced with empty strategies and leadership that can’t seem to be accountable for anything of substance. A team once full of practical thinking, industry knowledge and emotional intelligence has been replaced by severely lacking business acumen, fragile egos and aggressiveness pretending to be strength. They are now more concerned about how things look on paper above the overall health of the company. Unfortunately, none of the changes that have been made lead to a sustainable company future, but they’re more in the mindset of keeping with their mistakes because they’ve spent so much time making them. Longtime employees are either being pushed out or leaving in droves. New hires are realizing pretty quickly this is not what they signed up for. Customers don’t understand what is going on. Past Rehrig generations would be horrified.

Pros

The beer bashes are a nice treat. The company picnics and Christmas parties aren't bad also.

Cons

The pay is really low. Seems like this job would be better suited for someone who just graduated from college...if they don't mind being paid below market. The work environment can be uncomfortable especially when the payroll/ "HR" manager takes it upon herself to bully other managers or staff in front of everyone else. You can also probably find her gossiping in the kitchen. Everyone else for the most part is pretty friendly.

Pros

Drinking alcohol is accepted almost all work hours . Most everyone acts childish if you appreciate working in that environment

Cons

A manager asked staff to make positive entries here to boost appearances. Coercion is unprofessional. Employees like sales are expected to work long hours and compensation is poor. Managers admit competition pays better but do nothing about it. When employees leave they bad mouth him or her.
