Pros

Good work/life balance Some great people to work with Lunch provided sometimes

Cons

Lack of training or support on the thousands of products we are expected to know, videos just don't cut it most of the time High pressure environment with unfulfilling work Lack of communication throughout the company leaving department sometimes feeling lost, ignored, forgotten. Caused many headaches and bad work days Favoritism in the company, some employees/ departments allowed to not do their job or do their job poorly. People get away with things that shouldn't be allowed No Evaluations/feedback on performance or raises Department used by the company like a toilet dumping unwanted projects/ problems Lots of turnover, open positions left unfilled and for our department to deal with Some higher level employees are generally unfriendly and treat you like dirt Benefits are not the greatest and raises not given often/at all (using covid as excuse to not give raises)

Pros

It's one of the bigger employers in Sussex area. It is a respected company in the golf grounds keepers and has a respectable amount of Salt inventory.

Cons

It is a high pressure environment with little potential for advancement. You are just a number here, a tool to be used by management to advance their own "family" agenda. Management consists of family members and "friends" and has a disconnect between it and the employees not in that group. The work/life balance is gone.

Pros

Nonexistent - unless you are a favorite who knows how to provide constant agreement to the president without any dissent, you will not thrive here.

Cons

Poor communication from upper management Complete lack of respect for employees Constant favoritism typically for low performers who are adept at sucking up to upper management
