Nothing at all. Toxic place to work. RUN away from this company and the Brothers Bachman that make this place miserable to work at!
Cons
Everything is messed up. Management between locations do not communicate and the lack of planning and manpower creates huge issues to compete work on time. All jobs are rushed and it will always be your fault.
* RELCO is a small enough company that individual contributions and suggestions *CAN* make a difference.
* While the work is challenging, the wages are fair.
* Your co-workers are nice people to work beside each day.
* You can listen to the radio and smoke in the shop.
* They have very good health care benefits, they make contributions to your health care premiums.
* The work is rewarding to see locomotives roll out of the shop looking like new and knowing you had a part in it.
* Senior employees work hard to train newer employees.
Cons
* The eye care insurance needs more options in Iowa and better coverage.
* The shop can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter; due to the doors opening and closing to allow locomotives in and out.
