Pros

The best thing about Rennert were the people that worked there (non-managers). Teachers and administrative staff are intelligent, supportive and a fun group. Work conditions encourage staff to be very close/commiserate and many of the people I worked with are still friends of mine today. Could be a good place to get your feet wet if you don't have any experience in the industry but not ideal to be there more than a year.

Cons

Low pay, very little vacation time (1 week per year and not allowed to take vacation during the summer which is late may-sept), little room for advancement, lots of work and no overtime during peak seasons, management can be overbearing and is disconnected from the every day work that staff does to keep business afloat.

Pros

The only bright spot is that you get to work with Fortune 100 companies and it provided some excellent experience.

Cons

Rennert is stuck in the 80s. Innovation is looked upon with hostility. Mediocre and inappropriate behavior is condoned. There's absolutely no commitment to employee development and the turnover rate is extremely high.

Pros

Good for a complete beginner to gain some experience in the field and learn how know how to deal with people who are completely over their head and abusive.

Cons

Upper management who will keep lying to your face and do absolutely nothing even after you complain about the same person for a hundredth times even though you have a solid proof that the person was completely absurd, insane and abusive towards other people in the department.
