Pros

The location was lovely, near bridgewater place and some nice shops & could go into town at lunchtime for lunch

Cons

You either do the right thing and get shouted at / fired, or you do the wrong thing and get promoted

Pros

Working with a wide range of well respected clients. The technology we used was good too. Based in the centre of Leeds with bars & restaurants nearby.

Cons

Regularly worked unpaid overtime lat into the evenings (often 10 o'clock) & on weekends. Pay was low & management frequently shouted at us.

Pros

Having worked here for over a year now, I was a bit shocked to read some of the comments on here about Researchbods. I couldn't have an opinion on things before my time here, but today's environment is far from this. A company that still has that small business feel based on the closeness that I have with all my colleagues irrespective of their position but realistically being a large business based on our customer base and continual growth in sales as well as work force. Working in the Technology department, I see first-hand the support and encouragement that management provide to create a collaborative, bottom up approach that provides an environment for colleagues to be heard, drive and own their work. I have never worked for a company that balances strategic and tactical work streams so well. We are also provided time to train each week and keep up on the fast-evolving industry Great company benefits have saved me hundreds over the year from tv/broadband to a free coffee, from birthday gifts, to short break holidays. Pool and ping-pong tables if that’s what you fancy during lunch or maybe just a short walk into Leeds to be spoilt for choice with the many different food options.

Cons

As with many small businesses that grow quickly, keeping pace with the growth can seem difficult and the best option isn’t always throwing more people at the solutional. Sometimes you must improve on the processes you have within the team which needs time to evolve. Knowing of all the things we want to do and not being able to do them right away can become frustrating but I’m clutching at straws really because slowing down to be able to become quicker is the best approach.
