Great Cause!

Pros

To work for RFF is to work for a terrific cause -- private lands conservation. It also means working as part of a small team of just half a dozen people -- so it means being a team player and being able to play well with people who are passionate about their conservation work. So you need to be equally committed to conservation.

Cons

You will be working in a very relaxed atmosphere. So be prepared to bring with you a very disciplined work ethic so that you can carry on regardless, even when some of your teammates may appear to be carrying less than their full load.

Pros

Important contribution to promoting conservation both in the U.S. and around the world.

Cons

Securing funds for conservation programs has become difficult following the recession, with many funding sources cutting back on their giving.
