Pros

They are fairly flexible as far as taking time off for doctors appointments and things of that nature. The hours are decent most of the time.

Cons

This is a family run company. All of the family children who are mainly in their 20s and 30s are the executives. This is a very corporate environment. Think Office Space and The Office. Most employees do not seem very passionate about their careers in the company. Some would describe it as a very soul-crushing, micro-managing environment. But if you like mindless jobs where you do robot work all day then this is the place for you.

Pros

Incentives were amazing. The company owners are such wonderful people. The company was really informative on what quarterly and yearly goals were. They always had fun activities 1 -3 times a month. I was let go during the pandemic and the HR team was absolutely amazing in helping us with the whole transition and I was impressed.

Cons

Management was very mean sometimes - true story, I lost my dad and called them to let them know and was still asked if I was going to work. It's been a while since I worked there so maybe things have gotten better. Getting time off was very hard and getting a shift to accommodate a sick child or change in daycare was tough.

Pros

Flexible with time off, appointments and dress code; sometimes you get a free lunch from Costco

Cons

The company is family-run and doesn't allow for much, if any, growth. The management is awful; most people haven't ever worked in another company and don't have any experience outside this small "agency." The thought process behind any and all decision-making is archaic; most employees seem almost robotic because no one ever stands up for themselves or has an opinion let alone a personality. The company doesn't really care about the success or growth of their employees. Managers are not mentors and just micro-manage and make a huge deal out of small mistakes... which if they had ever worked in another company they'd know that it's a waste of time. Now and then management will ask for opinion to include the employees but they never take it to heart or put it into action. Retention is a huge huge issue and there has been one particular instance where about 10 employees quit in six week's time. They have completely ridiculous company rules that state that you can't take a day off before or after a paid holiday otherwise you won't be paid for the holiday (is that legal?) and they don't give recommendations of any sort when you leave the company... not a lot of incentive to respect or care about your work. There's no formal bonus structure but they'll give you a raise (after about a year), make a huge deal out of this "privilege" and then it'll be about $20 more per paycheck... plus you'll be working nine hours or more per day.
