Pros

Some good people, but the senior management are too often rejects from others software companies.

Cons

Biggest problem is financial stability. Reval has lost tens of millions of dollars in the last few years and because of the failed IPO is desperately seeking to sell the company. As a result management are desperately trying to screw money out of clients, while being very cheap with spending.

Lost average of $20m a year for five years. Acquired by ION for a token $1 after wasting $100m of investment. Disaster for all involved.

Made some good friends, enjoyed interacting with clients. The treasury industry provides interesting work and is often fascinating..

Cons

Reval was disfunctional before being bought by OCI, and is just getting worse. Lots of very unhappy and even depressed staff who spend all days on their smart phones looking for jobs. Feel sorry for sales staff who have their careers wrecked because they are fed lies before being hired and are then put in the impossible position of selling an over-priced crappy product/
