Pros

The coffee is good. I have to write at least 20 words to submit this but there are no pros. I would rather stand on a street corner with a cardboard sign that says "need money for hobo stuff" than be a sales person at this ridiculous place.

Cons

There are security cameras everywhere and the CEO sits in his office watching the camera monitors of your every move. He is OCD and no use of cell phones is allowed. Everyone is terrified of this goofball. The dress code is business formal or a revention shirt (must be tucked in) and slacks or jeans. No white shoes, no pinstripe suits and no eating in the bathroom - oh yes, that is what I heard in orientation!?! It gets better; The fleet of cars have GPS and are also monitored. The sales team is divided into local (regional) and national. All phone conversations are recorded and monitored. Big brother has a name and it's The CEO. The sales team is run by a couple of idiots who love to to do the Ra Ra thing but can't sell their way out of a wet paper bag. Do you enjoy punching a clock for 45 hours a week? If your answer is yes then this is the place for you. Bottom line: constantly monitored; severely underpaid; run by idiots; everyone hates them and their job. If you are a complete imbecile then you should definitely work there. Most sales people last less than 90 days.

Pros

Some of the people are really nice and overqualified but underpaid. Fun atmosphere on the surface but dig deeper. There is food brought in once or twice a month. That is the highlight of the benefits.

Cons

Misleading hiring interview. This is technically a B2B position but your are given dead cold leads and are expected to make something out of nothing. You can literally make 100 calls a day and be told where to stick it on 99.5 of them. The customers you are dealing with are mom and pop pizza owners and do not generally welcome calls from sales people, if at all. Be careful when negotiating salary. You are technically paid hourly and must clock in on the dot. Your "salary" is based on your 45 hour work week. So if you miss your five hours of overtime because your kids threw up, sorry no dice. No paid holidays until you have been there 90 days, so again, there goes your overtime during those weeks. No vacation for over a year. Yep, you begin to accumulate vacation after a full year of employment so that you wont have 2 weeks until after 2 years of employment. You will be allowed 3 sick days after 90 days of employment. They will promise potential but be warned, the top 3 sales people account for 90% of the revenue and are the only ones that are truly happy. If you ask a manager for help, he'll say "figure it out, we did." There are maybe 20% of the people that have been there for over a year. These are the people that will interview you. Ask anyone else on a personal level and they will tell you they are unhappy and looking for other opportunities. The place is a revolving door. The atmosphere is unlike any place you have ever worked. To come or go you have to enter your social security number, retina scan your eyes to get in the building, and retina scan to get in the office. After doing that a few times a day and staring at a screen under fluorescent lights, you are well on your way to being brain washed. Oh, and the "scent system" recently installed will barrage you with who knows what kind of chemicals being dropped on you from above. Ask someone what you smell like when you get home. The music is nice at first but then you realize it's the same 10 songs on a loop being played all day. The managers will encourage you to "just drink the cool aid."

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your opinions and perspective. The many awards that Revention has won are all from 3rd Party Firms that poll all employees independently on their job satisfaction. The results don't lie - The majority of the people really do like their jobs. You should have read your offer letter from Revention - It clearly states hours and pay for each work week. Your signature on this offer letter was your agreement to the stated terms. Your negativity obviously met its match at Revention as your post demonstrates. Revention is growing at a phenomenal rate - This requires Top Talent which is typically less than 10 Percent. You were given 90 days to perform in the Sales Department, but the expected results just were not met. We hope you can move on and find a career path that will make you a happy and successful person.

Pros

none that I can think of

Cons

It's being a while since I have left the company, but wanted to shine the truth about this place, the funny thing is they have an individual in charge of cleaning up the image of this horrible workplace, micro management is prominent, turn over rate is astonishing, and the overall work atmosphere is a joke. What's funny is that when I gave my 2 weeks notice they preferred to fire me on the spot, I did not have have to give my 2 weeks but did it as a courtesy to the company and it looks like they didn't really care for them to just make me leave on the spot. Overall, even if employee's keep posting the real reviews here, someone will make sure their "image" is clean in social media, so I'm posting this to at least warn the few employee's that want to start an employment opportunity with this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Revention. We are glad that you have moved on and found a company or job that satisfies your needs. With the expanded growth at Revention, it can be very challenging to keep up. We heard you about the frustration of being terminated when putting your 2 weeks’ notice in - Terminations only happen when required. If you were still working here, we would advise you to get a massage and relax or go burn off some steam in the arcade. My advice is to focus your energies on positive behaviors and your life will yield great things.
