Pros

Kind and youthful environment, remote first culture, personal growth.

I was headhunted via Revolgy HR for a project that seemed really exciting, so I left my previous employer and quickly fell in love with the Revolgy company culture. The TGIF podcasts were fun interactive, the onboarding program helped new people meet and connect, the agile methodology and remote first culture were all important things that resonated nicely with me. Regarding the project I was the main driver building a Pilot program, and built an additional environment ready to sell to customers. The project was challenging and required a lot learning. I consistently put in 10+ hour days including weekends but I was fine with it since things seemed to be positive and moving forward. Two days before my trial period ended, I was unexpectedly called by my manager and HR, saying that my trial period will not be extended, allegedly for lack of results. This came as a complete surprise, I never had any indication that my work was unsatisfactory, even though I repeatedly asked my manager for feedback, which I felt was never provided.

Pros

- great technologies you can work with - interesting projects and customers you will meet - responsibility you can take - change and impact you can make to overall Revolgy - remote first company (in the matter of place not fully remote on timezones) - space for personal education and growth - great support during obtaining certifications

Cons

- sometimes too chaotic environment where things are changing too quickly without proper evaluation or description - org structure and responsibilities are not fully understandable which makes decision making more difficult - TOP management communication should be more often, more detailed to keep employees more informed
