Pros

- Set you order hours and workload. - Pay is decent, as well as the workload during busy seasons. - Use to have a good communication platform for other writers.

Cons

Where to start... - The senior management staff is completely unprofessional. Lacks interpersonal skills and the ability to actual help you. - Customer Support use to interact with writers within minutes to answer inquires. Now, your lucky to get a response in two to three days. - Training platform is horrible. They should held mandatory meetings to discuss new trends within the field. - They expect you to know everything in every field, which is simply impossible. - Lack of overall organization. Every since one of the managers left, the company just started to fall.

Pros

You can earn some extra income from home while writing resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles.

Cons

Average resume order is $20 and you have to wait for the 7-day revision period to get paid. By the time you take into consideration that you are researching, picking appropriate layouts and going back and forth with the clients, you are basically averaging $5 an hour. Unfairly scored by QA department for their own resume layouts. Your orders can get reassigned for little to no reason. Even if you do a resume order, you are still no guaranteed to get paid. Your client can get reassigned and you don't get paid for what you have already done. Low pay Environment is not team-work.

Pros

Working at home and flexible hours.

Cons

Not cost effective; after the drawn out processes the hourly rate isn't even minimum wage. The customers can sing your praises to the sky but it doesn't count for squat. Many of the standards seem arbitrary. There was supposed to be a space for clients to rate your work but I never saw that; the clients were happy, but that didn't count for anything. I got the impression we were like those little sea turtle hatchlings; if you made it to the water, great. If not, well, someone had to go.
