Pros

A majority of the attorneys and staff are delightful to work with. The firm puts on regular employee engagement events.

Cons

The management team's unprofessionalism has created a pervasively toxic work environment. Staff are expected to resolve interpersonal issues completely on their own, even when being bullied by members of the management team. There are a few attorneys who are childish and disrespectful on a regular basis; their assistants are offered minimal support or management with these behaviors. Most communication, if relayed at all, is incoherent, incomplete, or otherwise riddled with contextual and grammatical errors. The only problems that do receive attention are those brought up by attorneys, such that staff may request an attorney or staff member with more authority to pose the issue so as to receive an adequate solution. When called out on any of these preceding issues, they display a level of pettiness that, rather than aspirational, is just gross and sad.

Pros

Rhoades does have some very good attorneys.

Cons

The firm has been burning through litigation associates since 2021 mainly due to one senior partner who engages in abusive yelling and needs to retire.
