Everyone in any position of authority will set you up for failure unless you’re related to someone or friends with someone. Strangest environment of the “in-crowd” running the show. Females carry no value unless they’re sleeping with upper management. Men who (again) aren’t related to anyone are given lowest appreciation. Zero support from upper management. Upper management will dismiss any initiative and then come up with the same idea claiming credit for it. Specific department heads are the shot callers and tell the owner what to do rather than Dan calling the shots and sending responsibility downward. Joke of a place to work. Glad to have found a better environment to work in elsewhere. Never been so happy to give a two weeks notice ever!

This is a fake union! A union they erected themselves just to “say” that they are a “union “ and to get eligibility for those union- only contracts. Which are often times enormous amounts of money. They pulled an old trailer out back by the river and call it their union hall. The pension is nonexistent. The wages are low, yet somehow the union fees are fairly high for something that turns no benefit. Their union representatives are appointed. Not elected. Does not matter if you are boilermakers, or carpenters, both representatives are shady people that couldn’t win an election among the peers if you gave everyone a hundred dollars to vote for them. They’d still lose that election. And behind every shady move, behind every dishonest action, you have the world’s worst HR department keeping the books preventing any sort of improvement. If you polled the workforce, the approval rating amongst the HR department would be single digit. They are having a contest with the management to see who can be worse and believe me, they’re giving them a run for the trophy!
