Pros

Compared to other companies that I've worked for, looking back, this company was very chill--the work was very easy to handle. I don't know how to say this without being mean but people there weren't very bright so it was easy to stand out if you had at least 2 brain cells to rub together. There are busy seasons and chill seasons. During busy seasons, I would pull 12-14 hour days but it was only 2-3 months out of the year. The rest of the year, my job took about 2-3 hours to do everyday and the rest of the day, I just had to look busy at my desk

Cons

The people--it's very mean girl energy there. The nepo bias are strong. It's a hard pill to swallow when you work twice as hard as a VP or board member's kid, which isn't very hard since he walks in late and does nothing, and get paid next to nothing. The pay here is pretty insulting.

Pros

- Hands on experience with jewelry - Experienced team members with jewelry knowledge - High diversity across the company - Employee sales - Set your own work hours - Relaxed dress code

Cons

- WFH is non existent unless you are an executive. - Vacation time is only ample after you’ve been at the company for 5+ years. Standard PTO is 5 days, which is below the bar for corporate roles. - Extremely below the bar salaries not competitive at all, little to no bonuses or additional increases - Wearing multiple hats, constantly juggling priorities with no clear direction or feedback. You will end up doing your job plus three others for the same rate of pay. - Performance evaluations are non existent. This is because the company does not provide annual bonuses or promotions. - Unprofessionalism (toxic personalities, pointed commentary, favoritism, etc.) is tolerated across all departments and swept under the rug. If you raise a concern, nothing will be done. - No company events, no team bonding events, no work trips, no culture clubs etc.. - Turnover is extremely high

Pros

Good for someone who is starting their career. They'll provide training on the tools they use. Its not much of a headache job, so can be boring at times.

Cons

Continous night timings (2 30 pm to 11 pm) can cause an issue for someone who is not a night person
