Dear Alum, I wish you would have connected with me in regards to the workload. I have talked to the team and the workload is very manageable. We are a startup and expect all teams to work hard as we try and make a very unique offering. Wish you the best in the next job. Regards, -Paritosh

Pros

Great potential for learning Some nice bunch of colleagues

Cons

Awful management. Cofounders have no respect for ethics or professionalism. They have ego issues and think petty. They mislead employees by hiding facts or by lying on the face. For a long time, no system was deliberately set in place for providing salary slips to "prevent employees from switching jobs". They want to retain employees not by providing a competent and healthy workplace but by disabling them. Part of salary either cut or delayed citing 'performance based evaluation'. There is no transparency. Nobody is told how much funding the company has (unless people get to know from media) and how the company is doing. I saw lots of hardwoking and smart people lose motivation since work is hardly ever appreciated. Cofounders behave childish and rude to anyone who resigns and don't hesitate to say things that should be beneath them.

Dear Alumni - Sorry to hear that you did not have a good time at Ridlr. I wish you had talked to me and we could have addressed some of your concerns. Few things I wan to address: 1. Salary slips have been given now for the last 6-7 months and are continuing. 2. We do not cut salary for performance but yes if there is an issue with performance, the appraisals are definitely reduced or not given. 3. Our employees are our core strength and we value them as professionals and individuals. 4. We told the employees of the funding status - we cannot disclose certain things till the time is right but we strive to be as transparent as we can. 5. We have not pivoted - we are just extending the information model. A startup is a different type of environment than a regular workplace. The expectations and the risk is high and people come into the environment knowing that. Happy to chat more if you like. Best, -Paritosh

Pros

Good for developers. Flexible with technology. They will use new platforms/technologies. So developers get exposure. Will get good hikes if management impressed. Otherwise nothing. Less politics.

Cons

No pay slips given because they are scared employees will search for jobs. Very bad. Also no appointment letter. No job guarantee. Will fire you as per their wishes. Even if you perform well. I heard marketing team entire was fired due to low cash and they were hired only 2 months before. No vision. Vision changes every month. Changes people's role as per company needs. Everyone they tell we will give you hike in 6 months but no one they give. If you ask they will say your performance bad.

Dear Alumni - thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience. Rest assured we take the feedback seriously and are constantly striving to improve. Few points: 1. I disagree that appointment letters are not given. There might an isolated case but we have as policy that everyone gets an appointment letter before their date of joining. 2. In a startup, people have to be flexible in their role depending on what is needed. 3. We have established an company policy that hikes will happen annually based on performance which will be applied for everyone across the board. Happy to chat if that might be possible. Best, -Paritosh
