Compensation is low and no room for growth. A lot of broken promises and misleading for growth potential.

We don't make open ended promises at Rieker. If there was a promise made, it was tied to productivity. There are many growth opportunities at Rieker. In fact the middle managers are quick to promote productive employees from within. We have had numerous job opportunities in the last 12 months. Most of the new positions were filled by Rieker employees and many were accompanied by increases.
Benefits are not that great. Only 13 days PTO per year.

The calculations for time off is off. There are additional 2 weeks in paid bonus days typcially at Rieker to vacation, personal as well as holidays. The average first year employee has more than 4 weeks off with pay. We never make promises at interviews, how can we when we don't know how that candidate will perform? We frequently switch positions to give an opportunity to employees to improve their performance or give them opportunities. We don't have a single employee who did not get a raise in the last three years.
