      A big disappointment

      Pros

      There are some awesome people at Riivos who are really trying hard and doing good work. A lot of new college grads who are excited about what they're doing. Met some really nice people.

      Cons

      The CEO and most of the senior execs aren't honest. Some of them are incompetent or in one case really really dumb. Only good stuff gets talked about and huge problems are ignored or only talked about in secret. No one discusses how long the company can continue with hardly any sales. So unprofessional. Hardly any new customers signed but they keep hiring tons of people and spending money on useless stuff that makes no difference.

      Pros

      Riivos was a good place for a while, you'll start out enjoying the following - Good opportunities for trying new things in your career - Fun atmosphere - Lots of challenges - Pay was descent

      Cons

      The unfortunate truth is a lot of bad, and it has been for a while - The product shows no signs of improving even when trying to work with engineering/product teams to push it in a better direction - Falsely present the product by saying it does things that it can't do to sell it - Not a sales focused culture, and it results in lack of sales - Management is very set in their ways. - So many secrets. No one knows how long the company really has, they only want to talk about the good, but never want to discuss the not-so-good (and there's a lot) - A few bad apples really spoil the bunch - Hard to learn under the managers - Spend too much money on useless stuff when everyone knows that no revenue is coming in - Never felt like I could trust any senior management

      Fantastic Company with Fantastic People

      Pros

      I'm a long-term Alight team member who has watched the company grow from a small startup with a disruptive vision to a mature business with a clear mission and set of tools to redesign how business leaders manage change before it happens. The company is nimble, dedicated, and intensely creative. It's great to be a part of an organization that is bringing positive, meaningful, and enduring change to the business world. Alight has uncovered a unique way to address a very real set of pain points, and I wake up every day excited to be a part of it.

      Cons

      There really are no downsides I can think of that are worth mentioning.
