Pros

Person served have a place to go from day to day. Delightful to work for people with disabilities. Made a difference out of all the negative

Cons

Everything! Lot of office politics and cover up, falsification of person served paper work. Poorly trained staff that train other staff poorly. Upper management has a do-as-I-say mentality not as-I-do. Head of the site I worked for allowed all the wrong doing by her circle of puppets everyone else complained in quiet and dealt with it. No raises for staff in about 4 years or more. I worked there for 1 year and was warned by other staff to get out well now I am. Hate this employer

Pros

Benefits are decent. I like the fact that they are a Monday through Friday, 9-5 job. They put a lot of care into the people they serve and the employees that work for them. HR is caring and supportive. The work place seems to be very professional.

Cons

A lot of administration changes lately. Hard to keep up with all the changes going on lately.

Pros

Rise is an industry leader, and a great place to work. It is a well run organization with standardized practices (something I really appreciate), but it isn't so big that a person goes unnoticed or unrecognized. The people are by far the best to work with here! It's a very supportive environment, with many directions a person can take with their career. Learning is encouraged and their are many opportunities for growth. I also love having every weekend and holiday off!

Cons

Since I share a work space with many others in the administrative area I have to compromise on the temperature. Living in Minnesota, I've learned to dress in layers.
