Pros

Rise offers a high degree of flexibility, which has allowed me to maintain a healthy and sustainable work-life balance while also while supporting a team that is doing meaningful and impactful work. I feel like there is a strong commitment to the team and their success. Employees are encouraged to build new skills and take on responsibility. The leadership is thoughtful, approachable, and genuinely invested in both the work and the people doing it.

Cons

I do not have anything negative to say about this company, the leadership or the team.

Meaningful work, supportive coworkers, huge variety of clients, very diverse, hybrid schedule is great.

Cons

Small agency environment, not as structured as big agency so might not be for everybody.

Pros

Rise is a fun agency that has intentionally fostered my growth! Leadership is attentive and extremely responsive to feedback. I appreciate the grace and positive reinforcement I’ve been given after making mistakes. It really feels like they have your back and will work with you. There’s never a dull moment from press conferences to events. I’m grateful to work with mission-driven clients. Rise has been intentional about doing firm activities like candle making, community service, happy hours, etc. as a team. The CEO will randomly get everyone 7/11 slushies. Rise has a book club and the company purchased everyone’s books along with wine and cheese for the event. We celebrate each other and our wins on delivering for clients from media placements to writing an inspiring speech. Rise is closed between Christmas and New Years Day, which is nice not to have to take PTO during the holidays. I’ve never worked anywhere that puts this much thought into cultivating a positive, people first environment. If you’re looking to grow, do meaningful work, and have fun doing it, Rise is a phenomenal place to be.

Cons

The fast pace may not be for everyone. No employer is perfect, but I appreciate that they always strive to be better. For example, they previously had a no carryover vacation time policy (use it or lose it) that they just revised so we can carryover unused vacation days now.
