Pros

-Relaxed work schedules -Open dress-code -Flexibility that comes with smaller companies -Employee referral program

Cons

-Lack of leadership -No clear direction/vision on where company is going (company is divided between contract work and product development for pre-market software they are developing) -Benefits are not competitive -Lack of health benefit options to choose from -No employee perks that come with larger companies such as fitness facilities, tuition assistance, adoption assistance, continuing education, childcare, etc. -False promises from management -VERY high turnover rate -Poor technology options (i.e. older laptops, desk phones are old analog stations, most people not even on Microsoft Office and use LibreOffice, most people on OpenSource email system separate from the handful of users at main office on Microsoft Exchange, older servers, no redundancy in main systems, constant network/system outages, lack of urgency from their "helpdesk", "choose least option" mentality, etc)

Pros

Great group of smart and talented people to work with

Cons

The administration is one of the most unprofessional and disloyal I've ever had to work with. There is absolutely no loyalty to their employees. They use people and cast them aside. It's like a virtual revolving turnstile in their HR department.

low pay and no advancement and no leadership

Pros

The first year is graceful ignorant bliss. pay check every two weeks and free sodas and snacks. Also met some nice people. Christmas party was ok.

Cons

The following years get worse. No raises. No advancement. No more free sodas and snacks. Teams deliver features that management asked us to design, then told that isn't what they asked us to deliver. Goals and requirements never the same and changed in irrational ways. Wasn't so bad when I started but got worse as more hired and I learned how bad things are.
