Pros

As a residential instructor you have the option to do overnights in the dorms where you get paid to sleep which is really nice. However, if you chose to do all 4 on your shift you end up being at work way more than you're at home (totals up to 80 hours a week).

Cons

Could be a pro or con, but you pick either a Saturday night-Wednesday afternoon shift OR Wednesday afternoon-Saturday night. You always have the same shift but have the option to pick up shifts on the opposite shift if you need more money.

Pros

Most of the supervisors are great people who have worked the residential instructor position too, lots of room for career advancement if interested. Residential Instructor with Overnights earns more than most supervisors but requires more hours.

Cons

You wear a lot of hats on the job, can be exhausting, but as is this industry
