Pros

Everyone is there to help you. Attorneys are friendly and approachable, LAA's are absolutely wonderful. Hours, benefits, bonuses, and profit sharing are good!

Cons

Staff doesn't feel appreciated. People aren't rewarded by how hard they work but rather how long they have worked at the firm. Why work hard when it doesn't matter?

Racist and sexist, but from a liberal point of view. Want to here how women are stupid and docile if they are in anyway religious? You'll here things about how women, like my wife, are. Want to here about how minorities, like my wife, who don't agree with white liberals are stupid? I got to hear how my wife, PHD and tenured and minority, was stupid. If you say anything, 'you don't understand' your own family; white liberals do. Hatefilled place.

Honestly, none. It paid my bills. There were a few kind souls. The managing partner of our office had mean nicknames for his partners and bullied people so seamlessly they didn't know how to react. I think they kept silent because they made a lot of money but it was sad to see.

Cons

I still have nightmares about this place. One of the few people I connected with was the HR Director, who was extremely helpful, smart and offered me good advice when it was time for me to go. I understand she's gone now, too.
