It keeps getting worse

Pros

Nice office, free snacks, good co-workers.

Cons

Everything keeps getting worse. The company used to make awesome products, but has lost it's vision. The product owner is full of himself, but he's a history teacher with no real development experience. Management is totally out of touch with the team, and outright hostile when they do interact. Valuable team members have quit, but management is only concerned with self preservation. We've gone from 3 scrum masters down to 0.

Pros

Nice location, nice building. Team members are dedicated, hard working.

Cons

Senior management practices verbally aggressive behavior to control and manipulate staff. CEO lacks industry experience or knowledge, looking to make a quick buck.

A painful learning experience

Pros

Nice downtown office, free snacks

Cons

Inexperienced, disingenuous leadership primarily focused on growing their own careers. Agile development is used as an attractive sales pitch to clients, however that’s the extent of its implementation. Employees are aggressively, condescendingly challenged in public settings. Work environment is presented as transparent, but fear of chastisement from leadership due to their own miscommunication causes many new ideas to be stifled. Uncompetitive pay. Terrible health insurance plan with astronomical rates for families. Extremely limited time off.
