Pay was alright but they scammed me out of a sum of money. I worked through the closure of the hospital and was told I'd get three months of my pay. Prior to the hospital closing, I had put in notice that I would be leaving the company, but I figured that since I had worked through the closure of it, I would be entitled to all three months of that pay. They ended my pay when the date on my notice came.

Cons

When I first got there, the staff:patient ratio was about 1:7. Towards the end, it had climbed up to 1:10-15. They didn't want to schedule enough techs to cover each shift adequately. This is not only dangerous for patients as staff are needed to physically restrain patients if they attempt to hurt themselves or others, but also dangerous for the staff. Since we were under scheduled, the staff that was there would be unable to leave their station in such an event and hardly anyone was available to respond to the codes.
