The people running this rescue have big hearts and a passion for the mission. The ED especially has a passion but some find her hard to work with. Personally, I liked working with her. She is smart, ambitious and passionate.
Cons
The other management there is a little overworked and does not have the ability to care about the staff. They are apathetic towards the staff and disrespectful. Also, the front manager was a horribly disrespectful and deceitful person.
Environment is toxic toxic toxic! New Shelter Management is manipulative, lazy, and doesn’t take responsibility for their own actions. They have little regard for employees health and well being, and even more so for providing basic necessities for the shelter without shutting you down.
