Stay away from ETN Division

Pros

The company places an emphasis on training the employees that are in, or going to be in, a management role within the company one day. Everything from Safety to conveyors to crushers, they are trying to develop RGI into a better company.

Cons

Each division is being managed differently and by different standards, and it's all up to the SMA. Other divisions might seem to be better, but the ETN division is terrible if you plan to work on the aggregates side. Poor pay, poor benefits, and the company doesn't seem to REALLY care about their employees.

Pros

Every person works together to get the job, or jobs done. Communication is key and everyone is on board. Safety and employees are the two most important things to upper management and the board of directors

Cons

Upward mobility has proven difficult. Schedules and/or plans change constantly. When results are not met and it is beyond your control it is "seen" as your fault for not doing more.

Pros

Small business feel, week off between Christmas and New Years annually.

Cons

Family owned business that is VERY hierarchical. A lot of bias in this company and some sketchy things that go on. If you're a female, I'd avoid working here. I had very poor experiences as a woman working here being treated as 'less than' my male counterparts. This organization is stuck in the good ole boys days and refuses to grow with the world around them.
