Senior Engineer: Good to start the career here, unsatisfactory for the senior staff
Pros
-Entry salary for beginners is pretty good. -Education and personal development opportunities are satisfactory. -Well educated engineers from reputable universities can be satisfied till their second or third year.
Cons
-The improvements and innovations you make are not noticed. -Communication with the administrators is weak. -Some recruiters and promoters are "based on reference". Many unrefined university graduates work here. -Almost impossible to change the functioning project management system. -Salary for experienced engineers is less than other defense industry companies. -Very poor personal assessment and grading system; totally subjective. -The distribution of work is quite unfair. As in many places in Turkey, the workload of the staff who really cares the objectives is further increased. -Academic studies that supports the projects are not rewarded. Contrarily, no one cares about the graduate degrees or papers written.
