Pros

Extremely capable people throughout the company. Very easy to move on to a much better job afterwards. Good benefits as well as very good food for breakfast and lunch.

Cons

From reading some of these review you can tell they are posted by HR. Absolutely no flexibilty working from home. I had requests denied when tube strikes we on. Extremely unsocial atmosphere. People are constantly scared of interacting with the principle. Blame culture, if anything goes wrong the principle will make it known in front of everyone in the office. Very poor diversity. They are disingenious about bonuses, many people receive bellow the minimum offered. Pay is far bellow what is offered at similar companies. The tech stack is pretty bad, lots of excel development and an investment stack which is near impossible to maintain. Very elitist culture with staff thinking they are better than other companies.

Pros

has free food, full health insurance. also a sleeping area. essentially allows employees to live in the office 24/7 most people are smart, hired through an excessively unnecessarily long process. creating a breeding ground for other firms to hire from when they get fed up with the company.

Cons

fear culture: people are scared to speak to the principle, because you might get eaten up alive by his interrogation, and create more work for yourself. the principle is impatient, and he doesn't have time for most things, and yet wants to micro manage the business, due to inherent lack of trust on staff. blame culture: in order to survive at rokos, you have to save yourself via throwing others under the bus, no one is willing to say sorry because if you do, you will be crucified. top management serves to please the principle, when there is feedback to the management, the reply is to sort it out yourself because they don't want to be involved. lots of team heads are expensive project managers hired from banks(read: political animals) who maintain a spreadsheet of 'book of work', and do nothing themselves. senior management are all ex bank sales.

Pros

Potential for high renumeration via salary, bonus and profit share (if fund performance is good).

Cons

- HR non existent, the principle owns your soul - Extreamly poor work life balance - Yes culture, if you ever disagree or express a personal opinion you will be punished - Senior management are laughable at best and the turn over at this level is high - Anyone with long tenure generally was able to get by as they stay sheltered from the principle, if you have direct contact you either stay for the money or get kicked out the door - Ultimately sell your soul to the devil - If you see their social media campaigns, it's all damage control - Unrealistic hiring processes
