Pros

The people you get to work with are some of the smartest and kindest people in the industry. And the name of the company will still get you Ooo's and Ahh's from your friends and family. It's easy to forget the cons of working for this company when you're able to get work done and become involved in the network of musicians and writers.

Cons

You never feel safe in your job. Management changes their mind every two weeks, and you have to recalibrate to whatever new venture they decide on. They are no longer willing to take risks to do something edgy. They're catering to the wrong audiences. And the employees! If only management knew how to treat them. No one ever knows what is going on in the company and it creates a tense atmosphere.

Pros

Massive career growth and opportunities.

Cons

Sexist and racist microaggressions run rampant in the company. When addressed, my comments and other's concerns were swept under the rug or not taken seriously. When I went to my manager, they agreed there were issues, but it did not seem like they did anything to help the situation. Over the course of a year, I had documented microaggressive comments being directed toward internal and external talent, workplace harassment, and, at one point, staff being called "useless" by a director. After months of documenting issues, I went to HR, and though they took the matter seriously, the process was slow. I was left feeling defeated, burned out, and my mental health was destroyed. I would never recommend working here under its current leadership.
