Pros

Working with children. They clean the equipment very often.

Cons

They had me teaching classes I was NEVER trained on. So essentially these parents are paying a lot of money for nothing. They told me to make up the developmentally valuable activities most of the time. When the teacher says we are working on spatial awareness, upper body strength, etc, its all bull. If you are looking to work there- they will put you on the schedule for days you aren't available. Days they said they would not. They wont tell you this, but there are mandatory events at least once a month(usually weekends) which you MUST attend. Oh & if you ever want a day off- plan things WAYYY in advance. Any requests off are due 2MONTHS in advance. And if you do request off, its still not guaranteed due to short staff. Lastly, don't expect a break. Unless you are a minor (At this location they don't hire anyone under 18 anymore anyways), you DO NOT get a break. I've worked classes & 3 birthday parties on a Saturday- 11 hour shift- WITHOUT A BREAK. They tell you there is no time for it. They are VERY understaffed. They rush you through trainings, if any. I just put my 2 weeks in.

Pros

- The kids are great

Cons

- Management is the worst I've experienced in my life, in every aspect of it. - Management can't speak English, has zero understanding of other cultures and people, and doesn't feel any compulsion to even try and better her understanding - Everything is centred around money with no regard for anything else. The pursuit of money means doing absolutely anything for clients, lying, working inhumane hours, pressuring employees, draining employees energy entirely - I felt exploited as my name was constantly mentioned to parents but I was never spoken to directly by anyone - You're expected to just accept sudden schedule changes and overtime, but there is no understanding for you if you want time off - There is no time off for anything. Holidays are generally worked with maybe a day off, But the lessons missed are added in again. - Communication is non existent, discussion is a myth
