Pros

- RRSP Matching - Some discounts on products - Some of the employees are very nice/pleasant to work with

Cons

- Head office management has a long way to go, they don't treat you with respect or dignity - They are trying to portray a more "corporate" image but are doing a poor job in doing so and turnover is high - Office politics are present - No room for growth despite it being advertised

Good hours , Customers are nice

Cons

Poor management , terrible treatment from managers , worst job I’ve ever had . Upper management threatens jobs daily . They take pride and brag about firing people

Good pay, hard work

Pros

Great pay, good opportunity for advancement, fast paced, good benefits package/ RRSP matching, independence, well managed on a regional/ National level, new trucks/ nice equipment, good maintenance schedule,PPE provided.

Cons

Very physically demanding, working at heights, lots of lifting in less than ideal conditions, very long days in busy season, lots of driving in dangerous weather conditions, high turnover at times, unpredictable customer base, pushy sales team will put orders over safety ( powerlines/steep rooftops/ poor access).
