Pros

Monthly incentives for quality production, annual safety bonus. The pay was well above average considering the type of work. Did not work weekends.

Cons

Uses dated technology in warehouse environment, including handwritten records and 20 year old lift trucks that were constantly breaking down. Encouraged employee recommendations but would not listen to suggestions for change. Most people there were 30 year+ employees who if you ended up on their bad side would use their seniority to make working there miserable. Workflow was based off of what paper they could sell and when they could sell it which made overtime unpredictable. At some points you could be forced working 60 hour weeks for months.

Pros

I sat and tried to think of anything, and was stumped for a full day. The inside sales people are supportive and helpful, but scared of management and completely unempowered. I guess its better than being homeless, but not much.

Cons

Upper management could care less about the well being of its employees. No personal development, training is a joke run by an embittered, yet wealthy, managemet caste, and the owner is too involved in other issues to really care about strategic development of the sales group. I can sum it up simply....3-4 sales people who stick around because they have no other options, and another group that is desparately trying to find another gig. Won't be long before these guys are just a small regional player at best......

Pros

You have a job, not a career.

Cons

Micro Management and lack of resources by Sales Managers. Out of touch selling Like a used car salesmen No family time. Management expects you to work all the time and make it your life. Does not care of individuals family or having free time. Owners let management run the company. Pay is low. Management does what ever they can to lower monthly and quarterly bonuses. Constantly have to go over relationships head to pitch paper. No relationship building. Out of touch and pushy management
