Pros

Kindly remove this section for this company. The only way they get points is listed here is by asking new joiners to fill the review within their 1st month of internship.

Cons

There is not limit of cons. A few of the long list of examples include - the toxic culture, the immense politics, lack of a minimal infra or IT structure, no functional HR team and presence of spineless members who love to call themselves as the senior management. To top it all, the company has fired almost 15-20 individuals without any prior notice or information. The best part is that the selection of these individuals makes no sense. 1) Individuals who have done extremely well and deserved promotions have been fired. 2) Individuals who have spent tons of extra hours just to support the company on consulting projects, through which the company procured huge amount of money have been fired. 3) Individuals who do not want to be robots rather beleive in expressing themselves in a respectful manner have been fired. 4) Individuals who have spent less than six months here as their 1st job have been fired. The company is set to go down in the soil. There are very few senior members, and the middle management is now themselve scared. No one wants to stay here. They are forcing people to work by getting them signed a bond of 3 years. This is why manay reputed colleges have stopped them to evn to visit the campus for placements. All this - is a result of getting just one family member on board 12 months ago.

Roots Analysis Response

Fake review alert!!! It has been posted by an individual who was requested to recently leave the organization. We’ve shared more details on this in our response to another review. A number of items mentioned in this review are allegations to defame the company, put in anger and we’d not like to comment on those. We’ve reported this to Glassdoor and requested them to screen the fake reviews before they are put on the platform. We are hopeful to get their assistance. Readers - take caution. Be wise when taking decisions. Speak to employees at the firm (current or ex) before taking any decision related to your career. We are confident you will get the accurate information when you connect with genuine people.

Pros

A team which is young, putting in sincere effort to navigate the complexities of business and management, willing to take difficult decisions. Kudos to the team (young - senior) on marching forward. The environment is pretty good. Like working here and be guided by the seniors.

Cons

Some of the managers need to be more empathetic. Some of the analysts need to take more responsibility. Pls include some experts in sales or marketing team to push the branding. We are doing so much good stuff but it is not being showcased.

Pros

Sign of a great team is ability to take difficult decisions and stick to the decisions to get it right. Team had taken difficult decision in Dec 2022 by letting go of few individuals from the team. It was a difficult decision but required for the team to fix few wrongs in the team. Also, since the team knows the decisions are for the right reasons, I'd request them to ignore misguided feedbacks on GD. Certain individuals who are no longer part of the team are hurt and I understand they are hurt. It is very difficult but need to keep the focus on positives.

Cons

Difficult decisions should have been taken earlier but at least the team is taking the decisions in last 6-8 months to get the team on track of accountability, honesty and respect in the team.
