      Involved in M&A projects and legal issues relating to investment funds.

      Pros

      To learn what the lawyer's role in M&A projects is, to learn how to offer legal advice in more specific judicial questions, to network with clients involving in particular larger corporations and thereby to broaden the professional network and to network with colleagues and to learn from them, which helps in further developing your career.

      Cons

      The working hours are irregular and it is occasionally complex to try to plan any spare time activities during weekdays. The nature of assignments varies and depending on the people you get to work with, some tasks may seem intellectually unchallenging.

      Good place to gain broad experience

      Pros

      Got to be involved in many various teams and had broad scale of responsibilities and gained experience that has been very beneficial when starting in a new job.

      Cons

      The divide between lawyers and non-lawyers felt big for me. Also the career opportunities for someone without a legal background are (very understandably) limited.

      -Compensation is good -Extremely steep learning curves -Interesting top-tier clients/cases -Nice Stockholm offices at good location with great views -Good atmosphere among associates and fun AW's/parties -Extremely professional internally and externally

      Cons

      -Very demanding working hours -You're expected to always be available (weekends, holidays etc. included) -Partners more business (lawyer) oriented than management (manager) oriented -High employee turnover -Practice group program does not really work (you have to fight to rotate)
