Pros

Great PTO/ FH program. Employee appreciation is high. Fun place to work, peers and management are very helpful.

Cons

Parking could use some re-organization, but this is on the landlord not Rotech.

Pros

Have big territory that’s it

Cons

I don’t even know where to begin to many to list but I’ll try: No laptops /tablets for sales people ( this makes it extremely hard to even do job, you will get phone calls constantly about status of patients equip and you have no way to even look you have to call branch and find out constantly) Low base pay Unreasonable expectations for sales goals( if rotech had a good reputation in the market this could be different but everyone hates dealing with them they only send insurance they are contracted with and have to send to ROTECH you get 90 days to be hitting your goals this is unrealistic especially when you have hospitals with own dme You are expected to be with 70% of quota even if on vacation no excuses whatsoever even if you are out of town All sales ppl feel same way and are constantly worried about getting written up if not within 70% of goal, this creates terrible culture and a revolving door for sales people but this is the stance the leadership has decided to take like I said there are much better jobs out there Mileage reimb is laughable You don’t get paid mileage unless you drive over what it takes you to get to branch and back to home address With such low base pays they rope ppl in by promising high commissions but don’t count on getting commissions too much corporate is always trying to figure out ways to cut it. Before I even started they had already taken away points on products and raised goal for bonus! Everyone at the company knows it is mismanaged from the top down, they create terrible culture threaten your job, don’t give you time to grow territory, training is joke give you a few powerpoints then say go sell and remember most hospitals you can’t even walk into because of Covid!! Good luck in your job search if Rotech calls you run before it’s too late

Pros

Nothing that out-ways cons, you get to meet some nice peers thats really about it.

Cons

There are so many. Training is non existent, you get a couple of power points then told to go and sell. This company is using outdated EMR systems that are not user friendly. There are 3 different kinds of reps only 2 of those reps get a laptop. When you are out in the field you have to rely on customer service to give you the answers needed for your referral sources. Then look like a complete idiot when you don’t have access to anything. Mileage you get $200 for your car and .11 a mile. That is nothing your vehicle takes a beating. Also you have to increase your insurance coverages too. Then you are tracked with every stop this program time stamps everything. The company cellphone doesn’t work mine had nothing but problems. Lets move unto to no CRM!!! Everything is on an excel spreadsheet. Required reports that you need to complete while expected to get 20 sales call on a daily basis. This company is all for themselves. They don’t care they are giving you 14hrs of work in an 8 hour workday. This place is a complete joke honestly I have no idea how upper management sleeps at time with all the lies they tell. They give you 3 months to get your commission points. Which is unrealistic, especially when the name Rotech in your sales territory is dreaded! I had a multiple referral source’s tell me that they would never send any patient to us because of the horrible service . Think of Rotech as an upside triangle, where they keep creating upper management positions and work there peons on skeleton crews. Everyone wonders why there is so much turn around!!! Everyone is over worked and feed up with trying to make something work with very limited resources and absolutely no training what so ever. Don’t get me started on the reconciliation process. All the uppers who do not do this all say its should only take you an hour. This is the biggest lie! You have to do this because when orders are coming in they get logged incorrect and put under the incorrect sales reps. If don’t reconcile you could get written up for not having your points. In a nutshell Rotech wants to make you work really really hard to got 2 steps forward. Its no worth your sanity. They don’t like people you like to work smart or have any suggestions if you do then your the problem.
