Pros

I enjoyed working in the department I worked in and my manager was very flexible about letting me adjust my hours. They were also very accommodating of a learning disability I have. I got a lot of great experience in my job and the benefits are good. The company has grown and grown, even during the recession.

Cons

RI as a whole does not value its employees, and therefore there is a high turnover. There is a lot of cronyism and backstabbing in a number of departments, especially at the management and executive level. They don’t fully trust their employees, either, and are a little paranoid. Management will not hesitate to bury the low man on the totem pole if it suits them. The company is also tightfisted with money. Salaries are low (despite the fact that RI claims it has “competitive” salary rates) and they don’t pay overtime. What another reviewer said about having to use vacation/personal time for Hurricane Sandy—that’s true. They also make you take vacation time for blizzards and other natural phenomena, which seems insane to me. In the time I worked there, RI went from being a health care practice to being in the business of health care to being in the business of business.

Pros

I feel that my Regional Manager appreciates me and is easy to approach and talk to. I'm relatively new to the company and the other office managers have been incredibly helpful and supportive.

Cons

Benefits are a little more expensive than hospital systems, but still reasonable.

Pros

You're able to learn need skills because you're forced to. This provides you will the ability to strive at other company.

Cons

No pay increase, management don't respond to you, highschool mentality. No lunch ( this is against the law) but, they still practice it. Consent driving because they insist that you go to other location. The Rothman Institute isn't interested in growing with new employment. This company is quick to put you on medical leave ... ( you're, done and your service is no longer needed ) . Favoritism. I choose this company because of the exterior appearances but, once I got to know it ... I wish I didn't accepted the job offer. This company doesn't benefit me.
