      Pros

      Autonomy with curriculum development, free lunch, supportive colleagues

      Cons

      Low pay, head of school only cares about the bottom line, teachers are not valued or listened to, student behavior is atrocious. The school wants to be all things to all people and as a result, is unable to excel in any one area. Everything is mediocre. Already in the 23-24 school year, three new teachers have quit mid-year.

      Amazing community with so much support from administration and staff. Professional development is hugely supported. Kids and families are great.

      Great administrators, strange learning environment.

      Pros

      Well funded, creative thinking is encouraged, freedom to tailor emphasis per student to match individual learning styles, certain teachers who are very talented and dedicated to their profession.

      Cons

      Obsessional focus on overworking students with homework, lower salaries than make sense given the funding available to the whole school, some bad apple parents who needlessly interfere with the classroom environment.
