      Family owned agency, monthly employee meetings, nice employee events held throughout the year

      Cons

      Culture (not what it used to be), work from home not allowed, management takes too long to make decisions, acting more like a large agency now

      Pros

      Compensation is good - a bit above average. Benefits are reasonable. There are a few genuinely nice people that work there.

      Cons

      -Extremely long interview process (5-6 interviews over 3 months) -Senior Management (lack of guidance for new employees) -Training - VERY weak - you will be training yourself by reading books and manuals. -Poorly defined goals

      Great company to work for

      Pros

      The company has a great atmosphere where everyone is friendly and always willing to jump in and help when you need it. I'm new to the insurance industry and what I've learned here in such a short amount of time, I wouldn't have been able to learn elsewhere. The firm is very big on constant education and customer service.

      There are no real cons so far.
