Pros

Amazing product line with a great discount. IF this were an employee owned company it would be the greatest place on earth to work and spend your time. It is NOT an employee owned brand. Some of the best employees and coworkers you’ll ever meet in your life.

Cons

-low low pay, way below market value. - highest levels of leadership have the least experience in the industry, and the loudest voices in the process. - wealthy white men make every decision. - wealthy white men suffer zero consequences for their terrible decisions. - manic workplace with constant stress, no resources, and a total lack of strong leaders. - HR is worthless at best. - micro managed from every direction in every department. - this brand is running on luck, a good product, and deep investor pockets. - CEO doesn’t speak to employees unless it’s to praise his leadership team, or criticize the teams working under them. Immature and poorly suited to run anything. But…rich boys get what they want! - “fast paced” just means constant interruptions and rapidly changing targets with minimal support and communication. It’s constantly chaotic. - zero sense of trust or security. No backbone or any hint of a spine in upper levels of management. - bro bro bro bro town. More Bros than you can shake a bro at. Gross

Pros

Employee Discount, you can sign up for other brand's pro deals with your employee email.

Cons

Oh man, where to start? It's been years since I worked at Rumpl, but recently read another review - absolutely nothing has changed. The upper management is beyond horrible - ego driven men who can't see that they are the problem. Everyone else's job is "easy", they make it clear that you're replaceable (usually by an app or AI), no work is ever good enough - but they will invest in "Hype" collabs that aren't connected to the Brand and dont speak to their target consumer. They don't have any proper HR, so there is no real support for employees, and even though the offer unlimited PTO (at least a few years ago) they will make comments/pass judgement if you actually use any. They have no idea how to handle any amount of success - when they turn a profit they hire like crazy but dont actually follow a business plan - about a year later they lay people off again. This cycle repeats over and over. Yet the CEO and leadership see no issue in this, and do nothing to change their behavior. It's a culture of privileged, ego driven white "dudes"who pat themselves on the back and treat others like minions.

Pros

Fun place and cool product. Brand created a whole category of outdoor gear.

Cons

Poor leadership that lacks maturity. Uninformed short sighted decisions are often made on the basis of emotion and blamed on "being scrappy." If you are a strategic thinker you will be frustrated at this.
